...The Olivaer Apart Hotel is very reasonably priced and there are some excellent off-peak offers available. It is located just off Olivaer Platz, literally across the road from a bus stop that takes you up the Kurfurstendamm (or you can walk up) and about 5 minutes from the U-bahn at Adenaur. If you are happy getting round the city on public transport this is an excellent hotel. There are a few cafes, bars and restaurants close though not a huge selection (there is no dedicated night life area in West Berlin, you will need to try different areas each night). There is also a supermarket two doors away for water and other snacks. The rooms are quite large but had a small bathroom and are simply furnished with beds, desk, table, chairs and a wardrobe. There is also a satellite TV and mini bar and hairdryers etc can be borrowed... Read review

Advantages: excellent family resort
Disadvantages: a lot of building work still going on

.... The apartments are located about 10 -15 minutes from the centre of town so we often spent our evenings there. There are numerous places to stop for a bite to eat and many of the pubs do a full english breakfast for those who like the taste of home. The best part of the holiday was our visit to PortAventura we spent the whole day there and the fireworks at the end of the night are definitely not to be missed. As we had booked with Airtours we got free one day passes for all the family. Other trips worthy of a mention is the trip to Barcelona to see the dancing fountains and the trip to neucamp for all football fans. The trip to the sunday market is to be recommended for all bargain hunters. Although our apartments where of a very high standard I would recommend that visitors chose apartments and hotels that are quite newly built... Read review

Advantages: Very close to Perth city, stunning views, ultra modern......
Disadvantages: Room service got you up far too early!

...The apartments are a 20 minute drive from the airport and with the aid of a map we were able to find them quite easily. The Mounts bay waters apartments are situated on Mounts Bay road which is adjacent to two of Perths greatest attractions - the Swan River and Kings Park and is also just a few minutes stroll to the Perth central business district and also (more importantly if you like retail therapy) the shops! Mounts Bay Waters apartments - also known as Mounts bay village, comprises of a number of buildings which house both hotel guests and residents. Upon arrival we were quite excited as everywhere looked wonderful, not to mention clean, the reason for our excitement I will leave for another review, lets just say that our apartments in the last city, melbourne, didnt live up to expectations!
