Reception is 24 hour and is shared with Las Olas across the road.
Before you go to Fuerteventura , please ensure that you don't mind fairly strong winds. For example Parasols and chairs were regularly blown over (but not blown away)around the pool area, and if you had been swimming the winds did make you feel really cold once you came out the water. I was rather disappointed by just how strong the winds were.
The small beach (situated in town) which Cosmos says is 700metres away from Punta Elena is not of the highest standard. There was more than the odd bit of litter lapping the shores, and we also saw broken glass in the sand on 3 different parts of the quite small beach (Approx 300 - 400 metres). ...In February 1999 we visited the one bedroomed apartments at Dunas Club, Corralejo, Fuerteventura. They came with the following facilities : microwave, toaster, kettle & fridge, telephone, TV, hairdryer, iron & ironing board.
For our sixth visit to Fuerteventura we booked a week in a one bedroomed apartment at Dunas Club. On arrival at Fuerteventura Airport on 17th March 2000, we were told by Judith A Johnson that as Dunas Club was overbooked we would be staying in a one bedroomed apartment at Sol Las Olas, some 3km away from where we wanted to be. When we protested that Sol Las Olas did not have the facilities we had booked, Judie told us that was not a problem as they would be supplied. It was all lies!!! Myself and my partner have just returned from a week in this hotel and had a fabulous time. We booked a double room with a Jacuzzi bath in the bathroom!!! What a lovely touch after a hard days tourism relaxing and having the jets massage those aching... more
