Blessed with a superb climate Sitges is a great choice for Spring and Autumn as well as the summer months - and I can vouch for this as we were there in October. Travelling off-season meant very cheap flights: Would you believe EasyJet Luton to Barcelona return for £70 each? Accommodation was also great value for money at £350 for two weeks with Eurohomes. We didn't actually stay in Sitges, but 9km away in a mobile home situated amidst palm trees on a hillside overlooking Vilanova, another delightful coastal town, a mere 30 minute drive from the vibrant city of Barcelona - but that's another story. . .... Advantages: Good snowfall, half pipe cheap
Disadvantages: very limited runs

...I visited pas de la casa this season. It is considerably cheaper than many other resorts. I usually go to steamboat, colorado, so this season was a big change for me, but the difference in price was also a very big change. Pas de la casa usually has very good snowfall and i think that it was almost as good as the champagne powder at steamboat. Pas de la casa also has a very good half pipe along with a small board park. There is very little piste and in 2 days, i think is possibly to ride both mountains, although the hill is quite good for intermediates Andorra is a small country on the boarder of france and spain. Andorra is also tax free and so everything is considerably cheaper over there.... Read review

...'s VERY touristy, so best for a short visit. The coast is great, but it's the Atlantic, with rough and cold water - so find an estuary like Vilanova de Milfontes and eat great food in the Cabana overlooking the beach. Near the Spanish border are ancient towns which have hardly changed, too many to mention ... Be adventurous, drive on empty roads and discover the real Portugal!... Read review
