Advantages: Great American Indian Biker shops
Disadvantages: Wasnt to sunny in febuary 2006 - almost got the car towed

...of getting around is poor because the only place we found to park (without almost getting towed) was along the side of the shops. And there is so many shops, you have to keep going back and forth and moving the car. Isnt good if you cant walk very far. If you go anywhere in costa blanca, check up on where you can and cant park...and if you can and cant park there on a weekend. We went to denia in 2005 (half an hour up from benidorm) and ended up with two parking tickets in a two week holiday (one in denia one in benidorm). And almost got towed in benidorm because we parked by macdonalds on the wrong day. When staying in denia in 2005, we were in a private villa and our next door naibours who were also tourists. Advantages: Rooms, location overall experience

...We stayed at the Marriott Denia for 10 days towards the end of July 07. There were 4 in our party 2 adults and 2 boys (11 and 9 yrs old). If you have every stayed at the Son Antem Marriott in Majorca, you will be disappointed, as it is nowhere near as good! Having said that, we still had a fantastic time. I think it's best to point out the good and bad points. All of the faults could be rectified very easily. Firstly, the service is the normal high quality you would expect from a Marriott, they still struggle to cope at the bar in the evenings but no real bother. The pool is nice, not heated but clean. The female lifeguard was a nightmare, I think she must have come from a Health and Safety background.When she was off duty, it was much more enjoyable! I believe several guests complained about her . .... People were even swimming in the sea Boxing Day. I must say the North Costa Blanca is my favourite by along way.I found the South dry and flat.The North has beautiful lush green mountains and valleys.After my first visit to the North,I fell in love with the area and have since been back 10 times.I even bought a house in Denia as my heart is now there.The North also has beautiful beaches and contrasting beaches.Denia for example has sandy beaches in the north and rugged rocky beaches to the south.There are many little coves up roads that are waiting to be discovered.Even in July I found small coves that I had all to myself. The north has so much to offer.It is not as built up as the south and has white washed villas set around mountains and the orange groves.There are beautiful Spanish villages a few miles inland and fantastic beaches.Altea,Calpe,Denia...
