...I enjoyed Majorca so much the first time around that I went back the following year! It is a beautiful and the largest of the islands and I would always recommend this for anybody's first holiday abroad.
Palma is a beautiful place and the trip to the resorts is very beautiful and relaxing. Palma is also the main marina and always have lots of expensive yachts on view and where you would board your cruise should you be taking a 2 centre holiday. I have always stayed in Calis de Mallorca, a really nice place with fantastic scenery and nightlife. There is something to do here for everyone and there is always a supply of english food should you require it. (BUrgerking). Excursions are always laid on and I recommend a ride on the 'banana boats' for a great laugh....

Advantages: Peaceful Disadvantages: Distance from airport
...If you are of the opinion, (which I was I must admit), that Majorca was a place frequented by only the young and noisy then think again. No discos, just friendly little restaurants, bars and cafes. Ideal for families with younger children and for couples looking for a romantic spot.!!
Downside is that it is an hour's drive from the airport and with many of the island's 'tourist' attractions situated in Palma...

Advantages: More than beaches and sun Disadvantages: I don't see their
...I was in Majorca last year, in July, and the only thing I can tell you is "Majorca is a paradise". It's not only the sea and the beach, it's not only his night life, it's not only the sun... Majorca has all you need for your hollidays.
First, I was in a hotel from El Arenal, about 10 miles away the capital, Ciudad dePalma. The beach there is so quite, and no many people baths in it. There are all service you can need for a day, restaurants, bars, shopping, people with cold drinks... and WC.
In Ciudad dePalma, you can visit in a day all his interesting places, first of all the Cathedral. It's a town very nice, and you will finish very tired, but also very happy to see beautiful buildings, parks and places, like the Arabian Baths, with seven hundred years of history.
You can hire a car for three or four days, too. The island isn't very...

I booked this hotel through Octopustravel and with the intention that it would be easy to get to and from the airport and it would be easy to get to the town from the hotel without much hassle. Both turned out to be very true.
