and a short walk down is all the bars and shops you could hope for along with the beach, which is where we spent most of our time in the evenings, Ticket touts are a bit of a nuisance but firmly say no Thank-you and they leave you alone after that. Further along the prom is Playas Americas which is somewhat busier and have more nightclubs.But a nice walk and loads of shops and bars.The beach here is alot nicer than the beaches in Los Cristianos. Loro Parque is a must if you have children it as Parrot shows, dolphins, seals , penguins oh there's so much I can't remember. Overall we had a great holiday and would return to this resort again. Don't go here looking for a 4 * hotel but its a decent 3* and if our son is happy on holidays, we are and he was. ...

Tenerife (Los Cristiano's)

Advantages: fun, popular, great nightlife, pretty, good beaches
Disadvantages: touristy

Whether you enjoy Tenerife or not I feel depends on what you want out of a holiday. I stayed in Los Cristiano's. It is a convenient location close to the airport (about 20mins drive) and you can get anything you may need there. It does have some nice shops to nose around and there are ample restaurants to eat at serving a variety of dishes from all around the globe. But on the whole I found the place rather touristy. With quite a lot of souvenir shops all selling the same sort of products Las Americas again is very touristy but is a popular spot for its nightlife. I personally went to Tramps. It has 3 rooms playing rnb, popular dance and trance and the third room plays mainly funky house. Its a bit pricey but a fun night out and you can party til 6am. Other than that there are a lot of bars all with singers singing your all time ...

Hotel Sol Princesa Dacil *** Los Cristianos Tenerife Just returned from a week?s stay at the hotel and can happily say that this was an excellent holiday, I flew over with my friend from Manchester with Thomas Cook, a flight which took about 4 hrs 20 mins and then only a short transfer from the airport to the hotel of about 20 minutes. I could not fault the holiday and although this is only a 3 star hotel in my opinion it should be upgraded, I have stayed in 3,4,5 star hotels and this more than met my standards. As I said it was only a short transfer and we arrived at the hotel about 15:30 and were immediately checked-in, the receptionist informed me we had been upgraded to a superior room free of charge. The Superior rooms are by far the best and are worth paying for; they are situated on the top three floors of the hotel ...
