Advantages: Beautiful pool areas, dining, service, general look of the hotel. LUXURY.
Disadvantages: The area is somwhat loud and it's a little too expensive.

...The sol pelicanos is wonderful. Perfect for families as there is lots to do. The pool area is stunning, it features many pools and a bar. The pool area ia always busy but it's definately the hotel's strong point. There is also a pool especially for the kids. The staff are friendly and english speaking and the hotel in general is beautiful and luxurious. The food is also very nice and Sol Pelicanos provides wonderful gourmet buffets. Entertainment is also available every night. To stay in Sol Pelicanos it is quite expensive. However, it is one of the most luxurious hotels in the Levante beach area of Benidorm. It is situated in a fairly busy and loud area, but most of Benidorm is like that. MY advice is to not go to Benidorm if you are looking for culture, it's more for Brits looking for sun sea and sand. ...Sol Trinidad is in the heart of Magaluf in majorca. Like most Sol hotels in caters for the whole family. I personally found the entertainment fantastic, and the hotel had such an enjoyable atmosphere all round. The rooms in which me and my family stayed in were spacious and lovely. The staff were very helpful and polite, and you were never stuck for something to do, whatever the weather might have been. The food was always nice, with a wide selection. There were different activities put on for the whole of the family every day, rifle shooting, archery, pool games, and other contests which you could really get into and enjoy. As an added bonus, the hotel is situated right in the town and a very short walk from the beach, everything you wanted for a lively family holiday. I did not find any negative point about the holiday there... Read review

...I was fortunate enough recently to stay in Villamora, a town on the Portuguese Algarve. This is a very modern town boasting a beautiful marina as well as good food accommodation and of course golf. I stayed at the Villa Sol country club, which boasts it's own championship golf course, golf pro, driving range, swimming pools, tennis courts and private beach area. This resort is about five minutes drive from the town and has five championship golf courses within a fifteen minute drive. It is only about a twenty minute drive from the airport at Faro, and fifteen minutes from the nightlife of Albuferia.... Read review
