Aparthotel Coral Beach, Playa de las Americas

We stay in the California apartments which is actually a hotel its part of the coral beach hotel chain.
The apartment itself was great.
Balcony ~ nice size, with table and chairs and room to move.
Bathroom ~ large size, has normal sink, normal toilet, nice big mirror, bath tub with a shower over it.
Bedroom / living room ~ massive, had table and chairs, sofa bed, tele and a ...
...fridge freezer, lots of cupboards, cooker, plates, knifes and all the rest you would need to cook a meal.
This apartment was a lot more than what we expected even had our own safe.

If you are staying in a room only then this hotel would be fine for disabled people as there is a lift but all the other accommodation in this hotel is access from stairs unless you ask for ground floor then it would be fine.

Kitchen ~ normal little kitchen with fridge freezer, lots of cupboards, cooker, plates, knifes and all the rest you would need to cook a meal.
This apartment was a lot more than what we expected even had our own safe.

We didn't really talk to the staff but they were friendly and reception was open 24hours so when we strolled in they always said hello. Maid came every second day and changed the towels and cleaned around but she didn't changed the sheets until the 4th day but that might be because we stayed in bed most the day recovering from the night before.

The hotel has a nice pool bar which does food, drinks, alcohol, ice creams. Good sized pool with a deep and shallow end so great if you have children, lots of sun loungers and umbrellas. There is music played around the pool area.

There is no entertainment in this hotel or childrens clubs but there are loads of places near by which offer these services. Although the California hotel does has a bar next door that also does some great food.

The hotel had a internet service which you can use. There are also telephones outside the hotel but I wouldn't recommend using these as they are expensive it you go outside the hotel and on the street there are 2 pay phones close by you should use them.

The hotel was in a great place about a 5 minute walk to all the bars and right bang in the middle of all the restaurants. This hotel is in a great place as you don't hear all the noise from the bars but your close enough to go to them. Across the road from the hotel there is a taxi rank and if you wanted a taxi to veronicas which is a 5 minute walk then it would cost you 3euros. Nettos is just across the road which was great for cheap booze before going out.

Tenerife has a bad reputation, which is really sad because its such a beautiful place and it aint like it was a few years back. its changed alot and people really need to see it to believe it. I hope iv have convinced you all to go see it for yourself. if any body asked me I would recommend this place. I loved this place so much im actually spending my summer this year in Tenerife working and I really cant wait. Hope to see you all there.
