Advantages: Ideal for a relaxing break. Disadvantages: 30 minute walk to the beach if that's your thing
...Great Location & Great Staff
05/05/2007 - 12/07/2007 approx £100 per room, per night B&B.
First time we have stayed at this hotel but have used the Sol Melia Group throughout Spain before.
The hotel is located on the Paseo Maritimo in Palma and has excellent views over the marina and Bay of Palma and is about a 20 minute stroll to the centre of Palma. Ideal for visiting the bars and restuarants of the old town at night and the beautiful city of Palma during the day. There is also a good range of bars, cafes etc along the Paseo Maritimo if the 20 minute walk is an issue.
The facilities were good especially the pool area which was spotless, had plenty of space and the best pool bar staff I've met in a long time. Once they got to know you nothing was a problem and the standard of service was friendly and relaxed. The level...

Advantages: Inexpensive to get to from UK, fab scenery, great food and lots of sunshine! Disadvantages: Crowded beach and limited amenities in resort
....
The cathederal is indeed a majestic sight, rising out of the ground and dwarfing everything around it. It cost us 4 euros to go inside the Cathederal but it is certainly worth it. The sheer magnitude of the building will take your breath away.
Majorca is certainly a destination that has something to offer everyone from couples to families and groups of girls and boys looking for a good time, consequently Majorca is not really somewhere to visit if you want something that is a bit off the beaten track. If, like us, you're looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday then Camp DeMar will certainly offer you that, whilst Magaluf and Palma Nova - half an hour down the road will cater for those who just want to party, party, party! There is loads to go and see and do - I'll certainly be back again!...

Advantages: Stunning scenery, lots to do Disadvantages: No any that I know

Oh, must not forget the delightful, tasty drinks, great food and hospitality!
Majorca is devine. It is obviously highly motivated by tourism, and in some parts of the island this brings criticism for being a bit tatty, but for me, October did not show this as much as it may for height of summer holiday-makers. In fact, we stayed in Magalluf which...

I booked this hotel through Octopustravel and with the intention that it would be easy to get to and from the airport and it would be easy to get to the town from the hotel without much hassle. Both turned out to be very true.
We got off the aeroplane... more
