I recieved this album as a present this Christmas. Below are my thoughts on what is a great Christmas present!
Florence+ the Machine, which is sometimes written as Florence and the Machine is the recording name of Florence Welch and a group of artists who support/collaborate with her. The group is made up of Florence Welch - lead vocals, Tom Monger - Harp, Robert Ackroyd - Guitar, Isabella Summer - Keyboards and Christopher Lloyd Hayden - Drums. They are best discribed as an alternative indie/rock band with a hint of soul. Lungs is their debut album.

In my last trip to Italy, I stayed in Florence for one and a half day. Let me share with you my fantastic experience of Florence.
Florence is the cultural capital in the medieval time, and the key player in the Renaissance movement. A small city it seems, but the home of some of the most famous people in history-Michaelanglo, Leonardo da Vinci, Galileo etc, just to name a few.
Again with narrow streets and allys, our first stop was a demonstration of leather. Italian/Florentine leather is world famous and shops selling leather cloths and accessories are everywhere. Obviously, I didn't leave without getting some goods myself. After that, we had a walking tour with a local guide.

SUNSHINE MAKES EVERYTHING LOOK GOOD:
We made our way up to the pool area and were pleasantly surprised by a couple of big pools, lots of sun loungers and umbrellas, a couple of quiet bars and a restaurant. It all looked quiet, sunny and inviting. We sat down and enjoyed an iced tea and toasted sandwiches. We had been up since 2am and I had only had a cup of coffee and water so I was quite hungry by now. The waiter was lovely and the food was fine. We were getting quite positive vibes and when we went back to reception they said our apartment was ready we were almost on a high.
