Apartments Voranova, Palma de Majorca Nova

The Voranova hotel was about half an hour from the airport and cost about 25euros, split between two, so wasn't too bad as the hotel transfer coach you could also book cost as much together and took about 2 hours stopping at every hotel that existed! The hotel was in a good location, a few minutes walking distance from Palma Nova town centre and the beach. It was also about 10-15minutes walk to the centre of Magaluf. Before reading this review please note i have never left a review like this for a hotel in 10 years and over 30 family holidays. This place makes Faulty Towers look organized, definitely a case of the lunatics running the asylum. This hotel will kill or seriously hurt someone before long if it doesn't get its act together. I have just come back from here and was dreading it as I have read so many bad reviews. The reception area was bright and clean and we were checked in very quickly. The apartment itself was a good size and was very clean. The bathroom was also clean and quite big with a bath and a shower over the bath. I have to say the bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept in (or not slept as the case may be) but I put a blanket over the mattress which made it slightly better. This hotel is a good base for a self catering holiday. The rowdy groups (I'd say youngsters but some were in their thirties) were a bit off putting. It didn't really bother me though unless I'd spent a lot of the day by the pool. The groups of people were harmless enough just slightly too loud. The rooms were nice and clean and had a tv with a few english channels. The maids were nice and friendly though the other staff were so miserable.
