Greatly located in central Agadir, a few minutes walks from the beach the Tagadirt hotel is a great place for a few days under Agadir's sun. Moorish style architecture gives this hotel a distinctive look.
Advantages: Friendly people, great weather, nice cheap food. Disadvantages: none
..., pasta's such as bolognaise, lasagna etc, pizza's and plenty of meat dishes - steak, lamb, chicken - all at super prices.
TagadirtHotel was charming and the staff right through from the Reception Team, the Bar Staff to the Animation Team were polite, friendly, funny and lots of fun to be around. The Animation Team work hard all through the day to keep all entertained - from darts to water football, to made up games in the swimming pool and in the evening there was a selection of evening entertainments from a snake charmer, magician to the 'Cabaret Show' (all start around 21.30 and are usually ended with some dancing for the kids and a few of the adults on stage with the Animation Team by about 22.15-22.30) - the Cabaret Show is made up and put on by the Animation Team and in its very naïve and simple way - was hilarious and great to watch...

Advantages: none Disadvantages: It is horrible, bland, boring - need I go on?
...Morroco is great but never go to Agadir. Don't believe the holiday brochures which say what a wonderful beach resort it is. It is true it does have a beach, but the whole place has about as much Morrocan flavour as Skegnes.
It does however, boast a sardine canning factory and lots of 'lovely' naff hotels that try desparately to sustain a 'good place to be' image but fail miserably.
Everyone in our hotel (Hotel Kamal) couldn't wait to go home. Steer well clear - you will be bored - and not just of meatballs....

Advantages: Good value; lots to see; Disadvantages: Constant hasle from local traders.
...We stayed at the Caribean Village, all inclusive in March for £615 each, Excellent hotel but the rooms were poor. Very good food and a wide choice. The best gin and tonic outside the UK. Entertainment excellent the activity staff were very active. No lack of sunbeds.
Excursions.
Car hire reasonable (almost new Clio for less that £30 per day) roads excellent but signposts poor. Once away from Agadir driving was easy especially in the mountains. Do not bother to go to Torandaunt. Overnight coach trip to Marakesh very good, the hotel and the included Moroccan theme night were both poor but the wine was very good so we drank a botle each. We were dissapointed not to see the Sahara but it was too far, maybe next time.
Overall we left Morocco determined to come again and possibly tour the country....

**Introduction**
Up-and-coming Agadir is a coastal holiday town which reflects much of the best Morocco has to offer tourists and is also a convenient jumping off place to other locations like the ancient city of Marrakesh or the World Heritage site... more
We visited this hotel in February, 2006 and found it very pleasant. The staff were helpful, the room was large, beds comfy and everything was clean. There was a good choice of food, somewhat restricted for vegetarians (as found in many places!) but much... more
