Stayed for a weekend 30/11/07,
Informed on arrival that JR's Restaurant was closed due to new family arrival but were suspicious of the fact there was a skip outside and builders working were the dinning room is shown in the internet photos.Not best pleased after nearly 300 Mile drive !!!

Room 14 was at the top floor with central heatingnot working ,two old electric heaters were in the room already so suspect it was an ongoing problem.Given ... ...in room 18 on a basement level with windows with no view at all. No price reduction given!!!
A very steep walk from the carpark to the hotel and tricky at night when wet,only one light working so best take a torch.
A small bar is available burt with not a great selection of draught beers and stouts. ... more
