Advantages: Spectacular example of Bhutanese architecture Disadvantages: Not for those who are unsteady on their feet
on a hillside overlooking the river just outside the town. It's a great location for a defensive building as you really can see all the way up or down the Paro valley for many miles in each direction. The river is known locally as the 'No Fish River' because, not surprisingly, there are no fish in it. Our guide tried to explain why but the advanced theories of aquaculture combined with his accent meant I just resorted to smiling and nodding as if I knew just what he was saying. Our visit
We parked near to the wooden covered bridge that crosses the fish-free river and it was hard not to be impressed by the bulk of the dzong sitting above us. The walls, as in all dzongs, are very thick and lean inwards. There are slots in ...
Advantages: Grand Central Station Disadvantages: Crowded in July and August
Despite being the hub of Greek Island ferries, Paros has a laid back attitude, outside of the high season of July and August.
We did some island hopping at the beginning of June and were pleasantly surprised at how much Paros has to offer.

On the plus side, this hotel was 1/2 block from a beach, restaurants, bars ...

The Wii party games made a brief appearance for the holidays and the shine of Wii Fit wore off after our New Year?s resolutions met with their usual success and longevity (i.e. none). It?s a fab console, but it?s very ease of ?pick up and play? makes it just as easy to ignore in favour of other pursuits. However, we were intrigued by the promise and novelty of the new Wii MotionPlus gadget, and when Wii Sports Resort (WSR) ? essentially Wii Sports 2 ? was announced, it was immediately added to our Wish List. As such, I was delighted when I received it for my birthday last week, and It has played a part in our nightly entertainment since.
WHAT?S IN THE BOX
WSR comes packaged with the game (in its own DVD ...
