This year I`ve spent my holidays in Cap Salou and the greatest highlight of it,believe it or not,was Aquapolis aqua park!
It has got some new great slides.The first one I`ve tried was the most daring one I would say.It`s called SPLASH!You get up about 30ft high and sit on the sledge.Then they release you and you slide all the way down really steap untill you hit the water and keep sledghing on top of water sometimes bouncing like the stone that has been skipped.I had to do that again and again!
Not sure if the black hole was there last year.It`s really good.I screamed my heart out.You just sit with another person on a double ring and then they push you into black hole.You can`t see much just feel the speed and some little flashing lights on the hardest bends.it`s where i started screaming.
For the ones who want just to relax there is a wave pool and lazy river.The wave pool is really great because you feel like in the sea,but the water is not salty.Unfortunately is not switched on full time.aprox.10min on 10min off.
Lazy river is not too long and for me it`s a bit annoyng.Too slow.But have to say it`s funny to watch when somebody falls of theis ring upside down.It`s hillarious!
Sorry can`t say much about kiddie`s section as i don`t have kids.All I can say just seen some miniature slides and big big area pool about depth to my knees :)
Twice or three times daily(depending on season)you can watch amazing dolphins show.Me and my fiancee went to see it twice.Aswell it`s available spend time in groups with sea lions.Sorry don`t know if it costs anything.It doesn`t cost to watch though. :)
Unfortunately like everything else in the world it`s got disadvantages too.As you spend there all day,you get hungry.And when it`s time to eat there wasn`t too many options.Maybe because we been on the beginning october.We got roasted chicken which was small and soaking with oil...Just fed it to the local cats around the tables.And even though it wasn`t busy we had to wait in the que for ice-cream about 8minutes.BUT NOTHING COULD SPOIL MY DAY! Anyway if you going there after you read my review you know now that you might take a picnic basket.There is loads nice place`s to sit for meal.How about under the palm? :)
Probably another disadvantage would be to go there on busy period cause I guess would have to stand the que for the slides.
Highly recommend DO USE SUN CREAM WHILE IN AQUA PARK!
