The largest aquarium in Europe is definately worth a visit. Situated in the middle of the expo 99 park, the aquarium is a fine piece of architecture with various smaller exhibits and tanks on 3 floors all around one vast central tank.
When you enter walk straight past the 1st viewing window where the crowds gather as there are alternative less busy viewing points just around the corner.
The main tank is truely enormous and contains sharks rays and numerous other large fish, be sure to view from all levels to see different views of the "ocean"
Of the other exhibits it is unique in providing close up views of puffins and sea otters (at least I've never seen one in real life before) and the otters play to the audiance, touching your hand throughthe glass.
