at the end of January, we needed to arrange a business meeting with about 10 people from across Europe and I wanted to combine it with a trip to a trade-show in Cologne. I wanted to make everything as easy as possible for everyone so I persuaded my boss, who lives nearby, that we should base the meeting around DusseldorfAirport. The advantage was that everyone we needed had access to direct flights to Dusseldorf and the boss could actually go home and see his wife and kids - something he doesn't manage nearly often enough. We threw all the arrangements together very quickly and decided to book rooms for everyone at the SheratonDusseldorf Airporthotel.

I stayed at the Sheraton Skyline hotel near Heathrow airport in September 2007 before I flew out on my annual holiday. I booked this hotel because according to their website, it is literally on the doorstep of Heathrow Airport.
Room
Our room was located on the 10th floor but sadly the room overlooked the hotel car park but to be honest this wasn?t a problem because we weren't staying here for the view! Our room was very large, much bigger than I expected for the price I paid. The bed was extremely large, probably about 6 feet wide and very comfortable. It certainly left us both feeling like we had a decent nights sleep.
The room also had two wardrobes, an office desk and chair and a lamp on either bed side table. There was also a fully stocked mini bar but to be honest the prices were so extortionate that we didn?t even bother ...
Advantages: Great location, beautiful rooms, huge beds Disadvantages: Very expensive food and drinks, car parking was £12 a night!
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Sheraton Skyline hotel on 2nd October this year. I booked the hotel through priceline.co.uk and got the room for £51 including taxes, which I though was quite reasonable for a 4 star hotel.
Location
We found the Sheraton Skyline fairly easy to find. The hotel website allows you to print off a map and this made it quite easy to find the hotel if it wasn't for my boyfriend taking a few wrong turns! The hotel is on a large road that is absolutely heaving with hotels. Literally the whole road consists of hotels, some very large and impressive ones such as the Marriott. We were flying from Heathrow airport the next day and this hotel was about a 10-minute drive to Heathrow (at the most) and was in an extremely convenient location.
