It is also located only 5 minutes drive from the M50 motorway which provides one with a super base to tour around Ireland.The interior of this property is modern and elegant with leather furnishings and floor to ceiling windows. The service is however traditional, warm and friendly and exactly what a visitor would expect to find in this hospitable City.

This 96 bedroom, 3 star hotel is just 10 minutes from the city centre of Dublin with a frequent bus service and only 4.5 miles from the airport making it the ideal base for exploring the tourist attractions of Dublin. Enjoy a drink in our cosmopolitan bar and a relaxing meal in the modern Cream restaurant. All rooms have free WiFi with secure underground parking.
Advantages: Bargain price. Disadvantages: Slightly too far from town if you're interested in a long term stay.
...the terrible reviews for the Ardmore hotel i was really rather skeptical about staying there.
I booked for two nights on the 8th july for me and my girlfriend and i was on edge throughout the whole journey because of the reviews that i had read.
However, the journey from the airport was a rapid one and one that didn't break the bank! We were welcomed to the hotel with a smile, the only problem with checking in was that we had to wait until 12 to ... ...This was understandable though and couldn't be helped.
Although the hotel is situated 2.5 miles from th city centre it really isnt that far. It is a pleasant walk through a few towns (if youve got the time that is) and we enjoyed it a lot.
Alternatively you could catch the bus...this was an experience for us. I warn you that Irish buses require the exact fee for the journey (to the city centre it is €1.70 per person to the city centre).
