Disadvantages The handle is slightly flimsy

Review summary
This bag is really great, especially when you think of the price that I paid for it. The bag is well designed, has a good capavity and ideal for a weekend away, just be mindful of the handle.

When it comes to going away for weekends, I and my other half always seem to end up sharing a small suitcase. Now, with my shoe collection and never packing light we always have an issue of space and the amount of shoes that I want to take will result in an argument (!) so I decided to buy a weekend Holdall for myself to accommodate my stuff and then my partner could have the suitcase all to himself! I did not want to spend a fortune as it is not that often we go away and then the bag will spend most of its time sat in the boot of a car or on the racking on the train and seeing as I had an Argos voucher I looked in their catalogue first and was quite impressed with the choice that was available to me. I soon made my mind up and opted for the Argos Wheeled holdall.

Argos is usually quite reasonable when it comes to their products and this holdall was no different. I have seen weekend bags priced quite expensive but the bag that I brought cost me just £14.99. I was slightly worried that it was almost 'to cheap' but it made sense as I had a £15.00 gift voucher for me this was another reason to go with it.

The weekend bag is black and white in colour. I think it has a really modern look to it, I have seen many different shops offer the monochrome look now and what made my choice even better was that I have a shopper that also features virtually the same black and white design so I look like I have a trendy set of matching luggage. The design of the bag is really simple yet it works really well. The bag has 2 handles at the top and then there is also a detachable strap that allows you to wear the bag across the shoulder, for me this is not an option as I find the bag that little bit too big and bulky to wear like this but if you travel lighter than me then you may wish to leave the strap on. They clip on and off by 2 small plastic clips.

The bag itself is really roomy and I can fit a couple of pairs of shoes in as well as clothes, make up and toiletries. The bag has a 30 litre capacity and this may sound small but in fact there is a great deal of room to the bag. The actual dimensions to the bag are 29/47/25 cm and the weight of the bag is just 1.5kg so it is quite comfortable to carry and lift.

As well as the 2 handles that allow you to carry the bag, it also comes with a set of 2 wheels on the bottom and a plastic handle that allows you to pull the bag along like a trolley. I tend to start off carrying the bag like this and then swapping occasionally to the two handles on the top of the bag. I have found that as I have used the bag the plastic part of the trolley handle feels a little bit loose and I can see that if it had more regular use then the bag could easily break as you pull it in and out from the base of the bag.

The bag is made of a lightweight canvas material and I have found that even when it starts to look a little dirty, a warm, damp cloth will allow it to come up looking fresh again. The material is not waterproof so you are outdoors and it is a rainy day then you need to be careful of the material getting wet and possible the contents of your bag getting wet as well.

In summary, I have nothing but praise for this bag. I think that for the money you spend, it is a great buy and for just £14.99 I think I have a great bag. I do not use my bag on a regular basis but it never disappoints me when I do.

I give the bag 4 out of 5 as I would like to see a little bit more strength in the handle for the trolley section.
