I would love to say I fly all over Europe but the stark reality is that I don't. I do, however, make many trips away for weekends across the UK and like to keep my belongings in order. One product... more

Advantages Advantages Keeps clothes in a good condition.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not great quality but they were cheap.

Better Than Using Carrier Bags! My daughter often appears in competitions and her stage school’s shows. Because of this we have to travel around a great deal, usually from greater London to south London, and quite often further afield. Usually this is by car. We have to take lots of her paraphernalia with us. What we take depends on the type of show. Sometimes she can go ready dressed, but sometimes she has to go to rehearse, and then after a few hours of this will have to change for the actual show. For some of these shows, and especially for competitions, I always encourage her to dress well ... more

Advantages Advantages Cheap and provides good storage for my clothes

Disadvantages Disadvantages They are not the best quality

Although I don’t travel much I find these Garment Covers brilliant! I first bought them when I was going to a family wedding and staying for the weekend. I needed something to keep my dress nice on the journey and got these from Argos. I cant honestly remember what I paid for them but they are currently priced at £11.99 for the set of 3. They come with a little storage bag to fold them up in when not in use but personally mine are in use constantly and I’ve never bothered to use the bag. The Garment Covers are not the best quality in world but they are from the Argos Value Range so I didn’t ... more

    Advantages Advantages Cheap price

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Not very strong

I seem to be at that (expensive) stage in my life where all my friends are either getting married or having babies. This has meant (and still does mean) a lot of travelling around to stag and (in my wife's case) hen party's, as well as lots of stay overs in various hotels around the country to attend church ceremonies and reception party's. Often for these occasions suits, shirts and posh frocks (again in my wife's case) need transporting around in cars, on trains and in and out of houses or hotels. Initially my wife and I just carried our clothes on hangers, but often clothes fall off the ... more

Advantages Advantages To be able to buy a set of these garment bags is a good idea in theory

Disadvantages Disadvantages Flimsy, cheap, breaking zips, splitting seams

When my sister married her Welsh husband five (or is it six?) years ago they chose a small venue on the Welsh border, somewhere easily accessible for both the English and Welsh contingent of the extended family. We ended up driving down actually on the morning of her wedding as Mark had a job on which he couldn't get out of without losing a hell of a lot of money, with his excellent planning skills he declared that we would get to our hotel with an hour to spare - meaning I had to pack all our wedding outfits very carefully as there wouldn't be a spare minute to do a last-second iron or spruce ... more

Advantages Advantages Don't appear poor quality, affordable, varying sizes.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Flimsy, not built to last.

I would love to say I fly all over Europe but the stark reality is that I don't. I do, however, make many trips away for weekends across the UK and like to keep my belongings in order. One product I were particularly on the lookout for was something to protect my freshly pressed shirts and suits whilst on the outward journey. We have all seen them before, protective sleeves for carrying your best clothes in whilst still on their hangers. I found a set of three at Argos for £11.99 so just had to try them out. The 'garment carriers' are made from thin, lightweight PVC which looks quite shiny and ... more
