I Stayed in this hotel in march of this year with my fiance and 4 of our friends. We paid £127 per person for 3ngts with ryan air flights which is excellent!!

We all had standard rooms and the only thing i would point out about this is that myself, my fiance and two of our friends had rooms next to each other in the back of the hotel and our rooms were brilliant on the 3rd floor - we were in the back of the hotel and especially our room which was at the end of the corridor, was pretty big with a really large double bed! However, our other friends who stayed in the front side of the hotel had a really small room so i would recommend you request a room at the back to avoid the small rooms!! When we were there though they were in the process of renovating the 4th floor and they may have only been using the smaller rooms until this was done. Overall though rooms were very clean, bathrooms brilliant and standard tea/coffee facilities in the room.

The hotel staff were excellent and they have a hold room for your luggage whcih we used before check in as we were quite early and couldn't check in til 2pm as the hotel was full(not a surprise as it's really popular and it was constantly busy). We also used the room on our last day after check out and they were happy to let us again. Small note to say if there is a lady there called rachel on reception who was the GM at the time she is excellent and very helpful!

The hotel location itself is fantastic. It is on bachelors walk so you are literally round the corner from o'connell street. The hotel is overlooking the river liffey and so you can walk acroos the ha'penny bridge which is just a about 50 yards down from the hotel and straight into the temple bar area, of which then you can go on into the grafton street area too. Don't be put off by the horrendous yellow colour of the building outside as inside the hotel also has a brilliant bar area that gets pretty busy in the day for matches etc and a restaurant(which we didn't eat in unfortunately but looked lovely)
The hotel bar at night becomes a nightclub and it is one of the popular ones in dublin - we also found out that the prices on drinks in here were cheaper than soe of the other bars we went into whcih is quite good considering it is a hotel club! The dj played a good kix of dance, r&b, pop, and classics. It has two floors and the lower floor tends to be a more older blend of music but, it means there is somehting for everyone!!

We had breakfast included in our hotel stay and the lady who runs the breakfast is so nice - she always came over to make sure you were ok and had a friendly chat with you whcih i thought was great service - food wise it was good selection and very fresh as so many people were in at one time, the chefs were constatntly putting fresh grub out!

one thing to note is though is that it might not be suitable for families as the nightclub means quite a lot of people coming in late who sometimes could be quite noisy!!

A fab hotel and i i have already booked to go back for next year!
