A well situated hotel in lido Venice, 5 minutes from the Boat station and 15 minutes to St.Mark´s Venice.
Very close to the Beach and the Palazzo del Cinema, where the Film festival take place.
The staff is very welcoming and pleasant, breakfast quite good, specially in summer in the private Garden.
In summer days was quite amazing just take a bike given from the hotel and ride all the island long take a long drink on the way and coming back long the Venice lagoon in the light of the sunset, just heaven!
In the evening there are many restaurants close to the hotel, all reacheble by feet, where we found good fish food in venetial style.

impossible to look out over Ljubljana without catching a glimpse of the gorgeous castle perched prominently on the hill. The Ljubljanica River flows elegantly down through the city, passing the cobbled streets and many cafes and restaurants. During my time in Slovenia I stayed at the beautiful, elegant Grand UnionHotel. I believe that my holiday was made a lot better due to my stay at the hotel.

The Grand UnionHotel is a four start hotel situated in the centre of Slovenia. The hotel is split into two parts the business part and executive part. There are over 300 rooms in total so it is fairly small and quiet. I was never kept up by late night parties or noisy neighbours. miles south and very warm in Oct!) the incredibale cave system where you ride an underground train for a 5 k trip through the best caves ive ever seen (40 miles south) and of course Lake Bled, the prettiest spot in country and a MUST see ( 30 miles north)
The hotel is not the cheapest around but at about £80 for a 4 star inc a first rate buffet beakfast its cheap for what you get,and what you get is a great place to stay,just ask the queen!
Tip:- The hotelUnion Executive and the HotelUnion Business are joined by a walk way ,be sure to book for the Executive, the other hotel is an old holiday inn bought up and added on for business users and it quite poor. The superb indoor swimming pool is situated in the second hotel ,on the ninth floor and is well worth useing. ...
