...This is my second cruise and i'm absolutely hooked. Cruising is a faboulous experience, one that should be tried if you get a chance. Ocean Village is a fantastic company to go with if you are looking at a cruise. They arn't very expensive and the staff and service is outstanding. The cruise was called Sugar and Spice. First we had to fly to Barbados the night before as that was the port of call. We stayed at the Tamarind Cove Hotel, which was in the St James area of Barbados. Advantages: Wide itinerary, excellent service
Disadvantages: Some of the pre-booked excursions are pricey - take a taxi yourself

...of ours before we went, but quite a lot of people booked when they arrived and we also managed to book snorkelling with turtles for our last morning. We called at 11 islands altogether - Barbados, Tortola, Antigua, Dominica, Grenada, Trinidad, Aruba, Curacao, Margarita, St Lucia and Tobago and had a day in each before sailing overnight to the next destination. I understand that Trinidad has been dropped from next year's itinerary along with another island (not sure which) and 2 others substituted. Ocean Village is, in fact, owned by P & O who in turn are part of the Carnival group so all the benefits of a large organisation were there. We paid around £1300 each for 2 weeks in an outside cabin - all the cabins were the same size (large) apart from the suites and we couldn't fault them. Advantages: Many beaches and places to go
Disadvantages: You will not want to leave

...Aruba is incredible. If you go to Aruba you will have to go for a swim at the beautiful beaches.If you like the beach you can go to "Palm Beach", "Druif Beach", "Eagle Beach". Or you can just stop for a swim at any beach that you past by. Some places that you can go to hang out or have a couple of drinks are, "Cuba's Cookin', "black hog saloon", Garufa cigar and cocktail lounge". In Aruba you can go for a ride on "Banana bus" or "Kukoo Kunuku". If you are looking for a cheap place to stay you can stay at some affordable places like, "Talk of the town beach resort", "casa del mar beach resort", or "Amsterdam manor beach resort".
