Aruba Hotel, Las Vegas

Advantages: Location is fantastic, escape from the madness and then dive back in....
Disadvantages: Nothing its brill!

...A gorgeous luxurious hotel set in Las Vegas, we decided to stay here so we could get away from the chaos and madness of the casion hotels and it was fantastic, The views of the strip were amazing, with floor to ceiling windows, fantastic quality furnishings including really plush bathroom and the linin was incredible i wanted to take it home with me, real coffee machine with starbucks in your room! This place is a haven to escape, only a minute walk to the monorail station you can get around Las Vegas quickly and cheaply and its fun!! The pool area was small but very nice and cosy and they had a live jazz band on every Sunday, we would not hesitate to go back!!... Read review

Advantages: located right in the middle of the strip, perfect location
Disadvantages: Choice of Restaurants

...This hotel is right in the middle of the strip, so perfect location for visitng all other hotels. The lobby looks like a mini Paris, so you do not feel like you are in just a place like Las Vegas. Room are of a good size and actually very easy to find considering the size of the hotel. Casino is not as big as some others, but still good choice of tables and machines, can get very busy on a weekend. They have an onsite theatre which shoes hit shows such as we will rock you (which i think has now finished). staff are very friendly, but remember that in the the USA you need to tip, especially bar / restaurant staff. overall the hotel really fits in with the "out of this world" experience of Las Vegas.... ...All that is great about Las Vegas is encapsulated within the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas. You can't miss the giant pyramid , rising from the Nevada Desert, guarded by the equally impressive Sphynx. The pyramid itself can hold a fleet of jumbo jets. It houses the mandatory casino, several restaurants, night clubs, an IMAX Theatre and best of all, a full size recreation of the tomb of King Tutankhamen. Being a new hotel (as most in Vegas) the rooms are spacious and modern. I have stayed a few times and found that the best rooms are in either of the Towers rather than in the pyramid itself which can be quite noisy with the continuous "chinking" from the casino. Room rates vary depending on what's on in Vegas. Saturdays are by far the most expensive, but during the week you can stay for as little as $40. Booking over the internet... Read review
