Advantages: good weather, good food, good everything! Disadvantages: Black sandy beaches
...I've been to Tenerife many many times with both my parents and my boyfriend and I can honestly say I have never had a bad holiday there yet. There is so much life and excitement in Tenerife as well as the quieter side. There is something for everyone. I have usually gone there in either May or October and the weather has been really hot and sunny. I've stayed in various parts of Las Americas on opposite ends of the beachfront and both are equally good. The restaurants are cheap and of the highest quality. This is a top place to go whatever your preferences....

Advantages: Great place, very sunny, beautiful Disadvantages: busy
...I loved going to tenerife with my girlfriend, it was one of the best holidays i've been on. It is very hot in july/august, and the sun hours are long. Tenerife is one of the small islands off the african coast, surrounded by other spanish islands. The nightlife can be very loud and party's going on through the night, which we thought was great but not everyone's thing.
The beaches are good, good sand not very dirty allthough can be in some parts, the sea is a great colour a turquiose light and also deep blue colours which looks great. The only thing maybe that botherd us about the holiday was that it was very busy in the day. Great shops for suvinouirs and crafts. Loved this holiday and would definately go again....

Advantages: Weather, Beaches, Value for money. Disadvantages: Having to come home
...Tenerife is an ideal location for almost any time of the year. The Winter months can be a cold as 70f which can be about as good as the British summer. I have stayed in Los Cristianos, which is a quieter part of Tenerife, yet just a short walk or taxi from Las Americas. I have also stayed at Gulf del Sur, which boasts some excellent golf courses, but you have to duck every now and then, as Gulf del Sur is just 10 minutes from the airport, and in some parts you can actually see the runway, so this resort can be pretty noisy. I stayed in Las Americas just before Easter this year, and I stayed at La Isla Bonita, which is located the other end of Las Americas and not too far from the busy and buzzing Veronicas, which is where you go for the best night life in Las Americas....
