...The Holiday Inn Express at the NEC is perfect for exhibitors, or visitors to the Arena. It is within stumbling distance of the NEC. The building is new and therefore clean and functional. Rooms are basic, but have everything you are likely to need, even for a few days. Only standard TV channels are available in rooms, and no room service is available. The hotel has a pub/restaurant attached, called Happy Owl, or something like that! This offers ggod easy eating meals in a pleasant environment. It does feel OK to eat alone if you are travelling on your own. Prices tend to be around £60 per night per room. This goes down at weekends if there is nothing happening, and will probably go up around Motor Show and Royal Show times. Off peak travelers can normally get a discount of some sort, just ask....

Advantages: Great location, super efficient and friendly service and a good breakfast Disadvantages: Not the cheapest - but I thought it was worth the money
Advantages: central and convenient Disadvantages: a strenuous walk to the beach.
....I suspect these last two trips might be a little difficult in the summer due to the heat but we went in may and enjoyed every minute.to sum up this holiday was one of our better ones and given the opportunity we will certainly return to sorrento and the ascot hotel....

I decided to extend a day trip to london and stay overnight, just me and my 6 year old boy. This was very last minute booking 18.00 hours the night before the stay to be exact.
Searching on the net I found various prices for us to stop for one night. more
