guestroom is furnished with a modern and simple sympathy and features a balcony with a spectacular sea view especially the dramatic sun set hours of Aegean.
Advantages: Cheap and Friendly Disadvantages: I personally don't think there is one
...fakes. Be careful though as some are very bad quality, if you know what the original is like then you know what to look out for. I bought a designer handbag which I saw the original in Selfridges in London after I got back and couldn't tell the difference - paid £30 for it.
Haggling and Hassle - You must haggle it's expected, it can be a bit daunting at first but you do get used to it. Hassle - yes you do get some but if you are firm and polite that is all it usually takes. A firm no thank you and walk away they may come after you but you will need to be firm - afterall they are only trying to make a living.
The Hotel Imbat - OK but full of ignorant Germans don't mean to offen but and I'm afraid to stereotype but they really were. There were other nationalities there and they said the exact same thing. The Dutch people we met...

...***MY HOLIDAY THIS YEAR***
This year me & 3 friends settled on Kusadasi in Turkey (on the Aegean coast - about an hour from Izmir airport) for our holiday. We booked our tickets in July (this year -2005) & then saw on the news the week after that a bomb had gone off there - felt a bit anxious at this point but decided to still go on the holiday as I really feel that anything can happen at any time anywhere so any place is safe/dangerous as any other (well you know what I mean?!)
***THE JOURNEY THERE**
So we set off on the 2nd August (me & 3 other girls).. we got a flight from Manchester Airport which took off at 1am!! wanted to have a little nap on the plane but it was quite noisy. The plane was full of chav-like people (sorry if i caused any offence) that insisted on shouting across to each other - grr!!!
We arrived...

...Kusadasi is a tourist port on the West Coast of Turkey. Just below Ephesus. Turn right on the road from Selcuk and you can't miss it. Big place. And I really liked it.
This is a busy place. It's also a hot place. It's a popular stop off point for cruise ships, so add this to the general tourist numbers staying in and around the town, plus the large number of local inhabitants and you have a place that throbs with life.
I've been twice now, once staying at the Hotel Imbat about 2 miles outside of town, just past Ladies Beach - which by the way is the nearest decent stretch of sand to Kusadasi, so this also gets very busy - and the second time we stayed in the town itself. Both had their advantages and disadvantafes.
The hotel afforded quieter nights, but it was a real pain having to find a taxi driver at night to get you back...
