SIA.Rarely do I buy duty free goods from airlines but the range on offer by the Hong Kong based airline seems to be quite satisfactory. Overall I would rate Cathay Pacific as among the best airlines in Asia....

Entertainment:
For entertainment you get your personal TV screen. Though the channels are limited but still they are good enough to not let you fall asleep unless you want to.
Ground Service:
This is the area where I have had mixed experiences (both pleasant and unpleasant). A few times I have found my bags not in good condition they was a little damage done to them. On some occasions I have found check-in agents uncooperative and rude. Last time when I traveled it took a long time for check in and I had to stand and wait for a while.
Over All Experience:
Over all my experience with Cathay Pacific is excellent. This is one of the best airlines of Asia and also safest because they have not had any incident since 1972. I would totally recommend this airline for anyone who is traveling to Asia....

...Swissair, the official airline of Switzerland, was the dominating airline of the 1970’s and 1980’s. Everyone wanted to travel with Swissair for its utmost punctuality and excellent service.
I can never forget my first experience with Swissair when I flew with them on a flight from Dakar to Geneva in 1972. I was only 8 years old and if I remember correctly the plane was a propeller engine one. I can never forget the excellent service I received, even at that time, being an un-accompanied minor. One other thing that always struck me was the huge white cross on the tail of the plane and all the toys and gifts that we always seemed to get.
I continued to use Swissair on many flights mainly to Asia and traveled several times in Economy, Business Class and once had the pleasure of experiencing, their then superlative, First Class...
