Advantages: Cheap, lots of Asian destinations Disadvantages: Limited schedules for some flights, no frills (but who cares at these prices?!)
...As a regular visitor to the Far East, I have to admit that I got very excited when I found out about Air Asia. Those of you who have travelled with Ryanair, BMI Baby, etc, will be familiar with the budget -airline procedure - buy a cheap flight using the company website, check-in at the airport and board the plane as you would a bus, ie, sit where you can find a seat. Air Asia follows this formula as Asia's first low fare airline.
**About the company**
Air Asia is based in Malaysia and started operating in January 2002. Originally flying to domestic destinations, it quickly expanded to cover other countries in Asia, including Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia. Advantages: Relatively cheap Disadvantages: Too many to mention
...Third time's a charm. After enjoying its so-called service for the third time, I've finally made up my mind about AirAsia. We are fully aware what is at stake.. by buying AirAsia tickets we were putting our travel plan at risk of some ridiculous delays. But when those folks in the counter announced that our flight was "cancelled and replaced" to 1 pm...

Advantages: Very close to city centre, comfortable rooms, good amenities Disadvantages: Local area is a bit grubby, hotel is very obviously a chain and is bland in places
...Ah, Philadelphia – I don’t think that any visit to the East Coast would be complete without a trip to the vibrant “City of Brotherly Love”. On my recent trip, I spent 2 days in Philly and chose this hotel mainly because of its convenient location and Sheraton’s status as a reputable chain.
~~LOCATION AND DETAILS~~
With 365 rooms, the Sheraton Society Hill is a medium to large chain hotel at the edge of Philadelphia city centre. It’s located (unsurprisingly) on Society Hill, a fairly traditional part of Philadelphia near to the Delaware River docks. The actual street the hotel is situated on is cobbled and quite nice, plus it is a convenient location to get to the main city centre, which is about 5 blocks/20 minutes walk away. Philadelphia is pretty diverse and there are plenty of opportunities to get some food in the area...
