It is very easy to get to using public transport (bus or MRT) and is near the bars and cafes of Clarke Quay.
The building itself is a fantastic old colonial building next to the former parliament and gives some great views over the river. There is plenty to see and it is best to decide before you go which exhibits you want to see as there is ... ...The museum covers all of the civilisations (modern and ancient) in Asia and provides an interesting history of the rise of Asia and the mythology behind it. It covers the religions now found in Asia as well as discussing how they came to be practised. There are plenty of sculptures and images to keep you busy helping to bring alive the similarities and differences between people from different tribes and countries.
