Advantages: Ideally located for Bar, Tavernas And Exploring The Old Town Disadvantages: Alongside The main Road to The Port
tavernas, basic but with excellent quality food.
Rethymnon's long sandy beach, with its associated bars and tavernas across the road, was perhaps a 5 to 10 minute stroll away. Although not really a beach person I can recommend the bars for having this area for having a drink and watching the world go by in the evening.
In conclusion the hotel is very well maintained throughout, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the location of the hotel is second to none and it is one of my all time favourite hotels. If you want an ideal base for your trip to Rethymnon then this hotel is for you. ...
Advantages: Quiet location, nice friendly people, very relaxing stay Disadvantages: Evening food not for everyone's taste
I stayed at this hotel during the half term holiday in October 2006 with my wife and our young daughter. I found the hotel had a great position as it was back off the main road, and right down on the beach.

I came across the Hotel International on various travel sites and it seemed fairly highly rated so I booked us in for three nights.
LOCATION:
The hotel is located 6 Rue Auguste Barbier in the 11th Arrondissement. The nearest Metro stop is Garcourt which was a two minute walk away and it was a five minute walk to Republique which gives good links to other lines. It's not really central enough to avoid the Metro and walk to the attractions but it was located so close to a stop that it seemed ideal.
PRICE:
Prices vary depending on size of room and season. There are singles, doubles and triples available. We paid Euro254 for the whole time ...
