We also took a tour up the Dalyan River, to experience mud baths, a trip to the Turtle Beach and a visit to the ancient city of Caunos. The Turtle Beach is huge with breathtaking views, the mud bath is great fun, and the city of Caunos is amazing - there are rock tombs carved into the cliffs that just take your breath away. Prices are £16.00 per person, and include lunch, river boat transfers, entrance fees, a guide and insurance.
Diving is another widely-enjoyed activity in Marmaris, whether you are a beginner or more experienced. You are always under the supervision of licensed diving instructors, so there is no need to worry. Prices for a full day, with two dives, all equipment, travel, lunch, instructor and insurance are around £20 per person.

Boat trip - Boat trips are great if you like swimming in the sea - relaxing - or sunbatheing. Generally this is a good family day out also as everyone can be self entertained. They make stops ie at local fish farm - at secluded beaches - at good swimming points - at other near by resorts - so its a good way to see other things. On board they will cook a bbq for everyone also - normally some freshly caught fish from that day - or some turkish burgers - with salad - pasta - bread. Some of the boats also do drinks included so you wont need to spend a penny the whole day. Again boat trips may be roughly around the same price as a jeep safari - if you buy a few excursions from the same excursion booth they will give you special offers.

This review is based on my own experience and my own thoughts about Marmaris Turkey.
Marmaris is located 100km from Dalaman airport, it sits in a natural bay surrounded by breathtaking mountains.
We wanted to visit Marmaris for a number of reasons, an opportunity to experience local life, meet the local people, enjoy the fabulous cusine and relax in the blasting sun.
Turkey is an enormous, culturally rich and scenically diverse country and chooseing where abouts to go was hard but the last few years we have had heared so many good things about Marmaris and that's were we ended up going.
Airport
There are four airport's in Turkey ( I think). One in Izmir, one in Antalya, one in Istanbul and the local airport is Dalaman International Airport, this is the one which we flew into.
