Atlantic Airways (Faroe Islands)

...Extremely annoyed with my recent experience with Virgin Atlantic Airways I am writing this complaint letter to you. Recently I flew from Boston, USA to Chennai, India with a connecting Virgin Atlantic Airways flight #350 from London to Mumbai. This was on June 11, 2007 I was supposed to arrive at Heathrow by 8.30PM local time and my connecting flight VA#350 was scheduled to depart by 10 PM local time. The American Airline flight that flew into London was delayed by 30 mins and that made me land in Heathrow only by 9PM local time In Heathrow, I rushed to Terminal 3 and I was at the Virgin Atlantic counter by 9.10PM local time. When I wanted to board the flight, Virgin Atlantic simply refused to let me in. ...after twice i have flown with virgin atlantic when i went to orlando the first time i was as nervouse as anything depart - manchester airport we had booked to go to orlando this is the day we was going to orlando we got at manchester at 6.00 am and checked in as we did a diy check in so we could get in the shorter que when we had checked in i had told the check in agent that was a nervouse flyer and that i could get on the plan with the children or the premium seating when i went to sit in my seat i needed the extra belt as i didnt feel comfortable with just one as i am not a small lady i couldnt believe it we got drinks for nothing and the food was piping hot ( not always on airlines ) the 9 and half hour flight didnt seem like 9 and half hours as we had a back seat tv were we could play games or even watch films... Advantages: Amenities, food, services on board, premium economy (if you can afford it)
Disadvantages: Can be expensive, limited legroom in economy

.... However, this was not the airlines fault so it can’t go down as a complaint against them. SUMMARY: All in all, Virgin Atlantic is my favourite airline to fly with (so far!). Service is excellent, regardless of the class of travel and if you have children, I understand that they are extremely well looked after, although I can’t confirm or deny this. What would improve them even more would be if they were to reduce their prices and also fly to more destinations. If you could fly Virgin Atlantic throughout Europe (like British Airways), it would be a great bonus. Highly recommended.... Read review
