Advantages: Situated in the heart of Mayfair Disadvantages: Expensive
...This is a wonderful hotel situated in the heart of Mayfair. It is a five-star hotel that backs onto Park Lane. The bedrooms are very comfortable and large in size. When I stayed there for the new year the service was friendly and the food was excellent. Although it is expensive to stay here it is thoroughly worth the money. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to stay in the West-end of London not far from Bond Street and Oxford Street. It is a good hotel to stay in for short shopping trips or for anyone going to London to see a show....

...From visting this hotel in late February 2006. We came to the conclusion that it was one of the best hotel In London ! I have visited several hotels and they didnt have any facilities like this hotel does.
The hotel offers great facilities such as an indoor swimming pool, fitness centre. The hotel also has its own garden providing a relaxing atmosphere. Not may hotels have its own garden especially in the heart of London !!
The rooms are spread out over about 8 floors. Rooms are very clean, modern and extremely comfortable. All rooms have a TV, CD player, DVD player, In room movies (Pay), In room video games (Pay), mini bar, coffee and tea making.
Staff in the hotel are friendly and always happy to help.
Food is good and a wide variety. The hotel has a garden bar, Longue and a garden restuarant with amazing views of the landscaped...

Advantages: Great City Disadvantages: A bit overwhelming maybe
...: Grab a bed and breakfast. You can find some reasonably priced (£27-45) B&Bs around London. There are a wealth of them around the Euston/Kings Cross area, and you're likely to find a lot more in the outskirts of London too. The outside of zone 1 and in zone 2 has loads of places to stay - just remember to get one near a tube station so you'll be able to go places.
The "I've got money to burn" traveller: Get a hotel. No need for me to go into them really, there's lots around and you just need to pick the one that's most suitable for you.
Travel:
The London Underground is the most well known train system in the world, with everyone knowing the phrase "Mind the Gap".
Its cult following abroad is not parallelled in London itself. Londoners hate the underground. It's delayed, it's dirty, it's a rip off. Ask any person who lives in London about...

I'm a big fan of Ibis hotels and stay in them for both business and pleasure. I had, however, read a bad opinion of the London Euston branch, so when I found myself needing to stay in Euston the other night it was with slight trepidation that I booked... more
Basically, if you're considering staying here, you probably have a small budget. If this is the case, I can reccommend it as it is great value for money. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms are basic yet clean, and the breakfast is more
