...I have just returned from our holiday - a week at Cala Millor. This resort is on the East coast of Majorca(about 1 hour from Palma airport) linked to its neighbouring resort of CalaBona by a promenade. Cala Millor has a long, sandy beach with many sunbeds and parasols to hire, close to which is the shopping parade both seafront and off the seafront. A leisurely stroll in the evening (when the resort is bustling with tourists) along the promenade brings you to CalaBona with its picturesque harbour and souvenir shops and bars. There are many hotels in these resorts, also many Germans. It is an ideal resort for families....

Advantages: Sun, Sand, and just about everything else you could possibly wish for Disadvantages: Each resort has it's own features so pic the resort thats best for you
...It's 8.30am and you wake up to the smell of fresh baked bread, you open the balcony doors and step out just as the sun starts to rise above the harbour.
Fisherman prepair there boats for the days trip and the locals are sat in the square just enjoying the wonderfull morning air.
Where am I ? you may ask? well ive just stayed my first night in the Hotel CalaBona In CalaBona.
If the above image has wet your apitite then you are in for a treat, CalaBona is the type of place that just seems to move along at it's own pace - CalaBona Time some of the locals call it, yes you do have all teh usual facilites you'd expect in any european holidays resort like cafe's and bars and even the odd night club.Most of the entertainment is hotel based but the hotels spill out on to the pavements and as you walk along the main street at night you...

Advantages: Close amenities/Friendly locals/Nightlife/Shopping/Food to suit all Disadvantages: quiet at times and building construction going on as the area is seeing more touism
...Well lets begin, about 4 years ago now I went on holiday to this fantastic little resort, not through choice mind you. You see my friend and myself decided to pack up our bags, pick a cheap flight off the teletext and jet off to 'sunny Spain' - (Majorca or as the locals spell it Mallorca) for a week........
When we arrived in Palma airport, we were directed to the Rep as our holiday was an allocations on arrivial. Imagine our surprise when the Rep directed an ELDERLY couple to Magaluf and us to a place called 'CalaBona'??!?
After spending our first day finding our way about we actually found it to be very pleasant, with a beautiful harbour and the locals were so friendly. The beach was a beautiful cove of rocks which you could walk out on and made you feel very far out from the land.
That night we decided to go to a little bar...
