The Amari Atrium was a great hotel. Situated on New Petchburi road is only a short Tuk Tuk or Taxi ride away from the hustle and bustle of Places like Kho San Road, the backpackers holy grail!
Also the hotel is very close to the main drag into Bangkok making it ideal for taxis to and from the Airport.
After 10 weeks of travelling we had stayed in a few terrific hotels however, and especially for the money, I don`t think you could better this hotel. I would imagine something of a similar standard would cost in the region of £300 + a night in the U.K. Our room cost about £48 a night!
Our room was lovely. It had a massive bed and every convenience you could hope for, including a safe which I thought was a re-assuring touch.

We had booked a Superior Deluxe room at the Amari Atrium in Bangkok for 4 days in September to finish off our honeymoon.
The hotel is very grand and very well decorated. Check in took no time at all and we were taken straight up to our room on the 9th Floor. The room was very spacious, the bed was huge and was decorated with rose petals, there was also a lovely honeymoon cake on arrival. The bedroom has a lovely view which backed out to the water and could see for miles.
The bathroom was fab a nice spacious bath with overhead shower and the water was nice and hot with plenty of power.
Each room has a safe which came in very handy for keeping passports and cash.
The food at the restaurant was fantastic with both a buffet or al la carte available both of which was excellent quality. There was also an italian restaurant ...

My favourite Hotel so far in Vilnius, I have stayed 4 times, each time it gets better. First impression, dark and old. sounds bad!but the Atrium is an old traditional Hotel right in the heart of Old Town, You can sit outside the hotel and watch the people promenade up and down the Street all day. Rooms? I have stayed in 4 very different rooms at the hotel, from basic to luxury, room prices can be negotiated, We have stayed in a two floor apartment on two occasions, real luxury. Found the basic rooms too hot.
"El Gaucho" the hotel argentinian restaurant, has an old cowboy style theme and cook the best steaks in Vilnius. Breakfast has improved over the last couple of years, as they are learning to cater for the english palate!! ...
