Disadvantages: Vineyards are empty during winter

...Bordeaux is in the south west of France where it is famous for its vine yards where beautiful wine is produced. It has many vineyards, of which the most popular and famous are the Medoc and St Emilion vineyards. I went to the Tourist Information centre and was recommended the tour to St Emilion (60km from Bordeaux centre). It's a pity that I went in January when the grapes are not in sight. However, I was told how red wine is produced, but not really being shown how. Bordeaux is a city with several towns and full of vibrant young people. It also has a sand dune (Dune de Pyla) in Acachon town, which is the highest in Europe, standing at 99m high. It was amazing high with both sea and forest area in sight. Well, if you enjoy scenery and wine, Bordeaux is definitely worth a visit.... Read review

...I am a born camper! There's nothing better than spending a few weeks in a tent, wake up by singing birds and sunlight and spend the whole day outside. I'm sure most of you hate camping but for those who don't CAMPING DU GURP will be paradise to them! ++++++++++++++Location+++++++++++++++ GURP is a two stars camping site in South-Western-France at the Atlantic Ocean. It is located right at the beach in a stone pine forest about 50 miles from Bordeaux in the Department of Gironde . You can get there by car or you ´can go by plane to bordeaux and then by train. ++++++++++++++Booking++++++++++++++++ You cannot make a reservation in advance.
