Alice Springs to the rocks!

Advantages: good for people on a budget
Disadvantages: not a hotel so standard is alot less

Alice Springs Pioneer YHA While I was in Australia we made are way to the centre and got to stay a night in Alice Springs. As we had booked the rest of our hostels through YHA we decided to keep it simple and book Alice Springs through them too. YHA Australia is part of the world's largest backpacker accommodation network, Hostelling International (HI), providing more than 4,000 YHA hostels in over 60 countries. To be honest each hostel is individually run so the standard does vary. Each hostel is given stars Alice Springs was 4 star. Alice Springs YHA had a reception where you could ask any questions you wanted. If you had any problems with your room or you wanted to book a trip all could be done here. The man on the reception confirmed our tour to Uluru and was very friendly even though we had left it late to sort ...

Hotel Alice springs

Advantages: Cheap accomodation right next to the beach
Disadvantages: A fair walk into the heart of Lambi

- Overview - I visited the Greek island of Kops last year (2006) for a short summer break and like most people nowadays visiting Europe i went for a package holiday. I got my package for me and two other adults from Thompson holidays and found the rates extremely reasonable; we went for 6 nights and had a great time. - Rooms - We stayed in a room with three single beds, and had no trouble at all the room was plenty spacious enough for all three of us and the bathroom likewise was perfect. To be honest i didn't really spend all that much time in the hotel room anyway i tended to spend my time either at the beach, at the pool or in the beautiful Lambi. - Service - We arrived late in the night to the hotel but never the less were meet with big smiles all around form the hotel staff and epically the owner George who ...

Alice Springs Hotel

Advantages: Friendly, quiet and comfortable accomadation
Disadvantages: Quite a walk from town centre

We visited Alice Springs in august 2007. I travelled with my son and daughter who are in their early 20s, and my grandson who was 16 monthes. I would say the Alice Springs is suitable for all ages. We saw young couples, familes with children of all ages, and couples in their 60s or seventies. ACCOMADATION Rooms are spacious and clean. Also one of the few greek hotels where you can put toilet paper down the loo! There are a number of ramps - one at the front of the hotel and ramps up to the pool area which mean this hotel may be good for people with a disability. Lovely pool and furthur grassed area at back for evening entertainment. FOOD Snacks are served during the day at the pool bar. Not cheap but good quality and all staff are friendly and helpful. Nearest supermarket is next door but one and there are restaurants nearby ...
