Advantages: not too expensive,convenient, staff are friendly Disadvantages: you usually have to connect at dubai no matter what destination you're flying to
.... The flights were all on time, no delays and it also has special arrangements for disabled customers.
I chose not to use them to fly to Australia this year because I wanted to go to more than one airport in Australia and the website map feature suggested that if you're booking a flight from one Australian destination to another you have to fly back out to Dubai then back in to Australia again which I couldn't believe because that would be a very inefficient way of doing it. Although, this might be because I generally find the new website layout very misleading.
I would definitely recommend them if you want to go to Dubai I think they are definitely a good airline to travel with if you want to go to Dubai, I would even recommend them if you wanted to go to Australia but they can be more expensive than Qantas but they are a good quality airline....

there's no 'u' in qantas the only word in the english language without one!
never use this airline within australia. they are mean,inflexible and downright rude. strangely q has now 55% of the inter4nal market and this is a mystery to me. use ansett friendly, flexible and always helpful
internationally of course they are slightly better than third world airlines although the staff are very arrogant for australians - it's now partly owned by ba. the airlines' safety record has now suffered terribly after over 78 years without an accident they just keep on coming now, mind you it could be worse, you may be on garuda!...

Advantages: We can not see any. Disadvantages: Very poor service

The aircraft looked well used, the seats were close together and lacked support for such a long journey.
The food was average for an airline but the wine was disgusting, a poor advertisement for Australian wine.
Schedule keeping was very poor . On the Sydney to Bangkok trip we were over four hours late leaving. I wonder if this is standard because last time we flew the route our plane was about four hours late leaving.
Customer Services: the only way to describe it is "ATROCIOUS". We could accept that baggage is mislaid but two weeks to be delivered, countless calls to Qantas where nothing we were ever told was honest , as the tags on our baggage confirmed, were unacceptable.
Use your hard earned money to fly with another airline which respects its passengers. Leave Qantas to bankrupcy....
