I recently travelled from Heathrow to Vienna and choose Austrian Airlines because I had flown with them before. I booked the ticket via their webpage, and it arrived within 5 days via post. The ticket cost me 8 GBP more than I would have paid with British Airways, the seats were very uncomfortable, and suprisingly no free food was offered on board. Not that I like canteen food very much, it just feels right to get something for your money, even if it's some tasteless chicken filet in a plastic bowl and cheap crackers, if you know what I mean. When I asked why that was the case, a stewardess told me that these were measures to ensure that the ticket prices would not rise. Ironically, I paid 20GBP more than a year before. Should I ever have the choice again, I will not hesitate to book British Airways, or any other airline. Having been a good airline in the past, doesn't justify the price and the low service. I am not sure they actually cater for disabled people, but since it is not advertised on their website or anywhere else mentioned, I suppose it's not their priority. In fact, I don't really know what their priority is except for making money.
