I have a 500 films a year habit. I enjoy an eclectic taste in music and books and can't wait to finally review some of the films I have seen and have only so far argued about with my partner (also a film addict)

It was so easy to organize on the internet, I actually rang the help line to double check the booking (an 0800 number)...ah all was o.k. I am always the person to try every web site to get the best deal and AutoEurope had it. I booked an automatic people carrier with A/C for a week in Montpellier for £290. When we arrived at the airport the car hire area was over run with desperate tourists trying to get their keys and start their holiday, I was one of them. We queued for 30 minutes and was finally seen by the one member of staff they had manning the desk. The forms where pretty standard, we had to pay extra for a baby seat which we had pre booked. The member of staff said that they would bring the baby seat to the car, but this did not happen and my partner had to go in and get it, after another wait. The baby seat was pretty tatty and came with no instructions. Unlike the car which was fantastic, roomy, clean, comfortable and worked like a dream. I am not the type of person who changes their car on a yearly basis but this really made me want a new car. Even my partner was impressed, usually the first to complain about people and their new cars. The car played quite an important role in our holiday as we stayed in rented accommodation in a small village, and used it every day, my three year old daughter loved the elevated position it gave her . Returning the car was quite tricky, as we needed to take it back to the same area which was difficult to find coming from the other direction, also my partner had to go back to the petrol station to get more petrol as he had slightly under filled due to parking on a sloped pump, so it was lucky that we had allotted plenty of time. Overall I would recommend this company, although some waiting and a slight let gown with the car seat it was a positive experience and added to the great holiday we had in France, even featuring in some of our holiday photo's.
