I first wrote this review when I booked the car and based on that experience, I can truely recommend Auto-Europe as a great alternative to holiday autos..... NOT only did I get a remarkable cheap deal...(less than £600 for 4 weeks, Passat) but recently they sent me an email saying that the boooking I made was now actually available for £49 less and arranged a refund.... unbelievable service and very cheap. The deal they gave me was with Europecar, and is several couple of hundred less than europecar are offering them selves, so read on and then just do it!

This is, at the moment a brief review, I have as you may have seen reviewed and used Holiday autos to book cars in the past, until last weekend that is.... While searching for the best deal for my summer vacation I was trawling the internet for car deals, I was looking to book a mid sized car with A/C for 4 weeks in august to drive around France and Spain. Of course I went straight to holiday autos and indeed they offered me a great deal. I almost booked it immediately, but instead figured I would look a bit more when I discovered Auto-Europe. Unbelievably the same car, same pick-up and same dates were a massive £300 cheaper. I searched for the catch.... nope... could not find one. Still, I did not book, instead I returned to holiday autos and tested their price match promise, and try as they did the best they could do was £40 more than the auto-Europe price, (a good effort, and not a bad deal)

None the less I decided after a little thought and some further checking I have booked the car with Auto-Europe. It was an extremely fast, secure process with immediate confirmation.

I am very happy, but as you may have guessed I have not actually picked up the car as of yet. I will update this review in August and let you know exactly how I got on. So please do not mail me at this stage telling me my review is to short..... I know and I will finish it when I have had my holiday.

At this stage ... I would recommend, because the value for money is excellent on paper offering the same promises and policies as Holiday autos... they will even match Holiday autos if they are cheaper!
