Advantages: None that I can think of! Disadvantages: Highly distressing - not somewhere I would EVER recommend!
The Auto Safari (Sa Coma) is situated on the outskirts of the resorts of Sa Coma & Cala Millor. A bus and land train run between the resorts of Cala Bona, Cala Millor & Sa Coma picking up tourists to go to the Auto Safari. We were aware of the auto safari from previous visits and decided this year our children were old enough to enjoy a visit and hopped on a bus one morning. I wish we had not bothered!
At the safari entrance we off loaded from the ... ...urge anyone considering visiting the Auto Safari not to do so - the tiger show was not entertainment and I was amazed at the amount of people who clapped and cheered at the end of it - apparently oblivious to the suffering these animals endured. If anyone is any doubt - this safari zoo features in The Bornfree Foundation's TOP 10 Animal Attraction complaints - currently at #7 (covers 2004-2005). ...

Please do not go here. The safari part is okay but once you get to the main zoo the animals conditions are terrible. There was one chimpanzee in a tiny cage with nothing to do. Next was the lions, tigers and cheeters. These had hardly any room and no entertainment. Next were the elepants with, like all the other animals, had nothing to do but walk around. The show was horrible, it should be renamed the hitting lions and tigers with sticks show. Dogs barked at the lions and tigers to get them on the stage. There were many other animals in terrible conditions.

Girlfriend In A Coma has almost exactly the same character as its protagonists - human, blowing hot and cold, involving but somehow not that likable.
