we just gave our autos abroad voucher and signed the paper work and was shown ... ...were the first to drive it.

We have just returned from our holiday in Andalucia, and we booked our car through AutosAbroad, after doing some research and finding them the cheapest around at the time. Even more so when I found an advert in my paper offering different discounts for different airlines. As we were travelling with Easyjet we would receive a £12 discount if we booked a car from them on the phone. The advert in the paper took up a whole page and as it was black writing on a yellow background it stood out well. There were three offers stating differing levels of discounts depepnding on the airline you were flying with. The reservations telephone number and a number to quote upon ringing was clearly stated. There was a date upon which the offer finished. The address and website was also advertised.

In NOvember I booked a car for the christmas period. When I wanted to collect the car there was nothing available. Apparently the car rental company didn't receive the reservation from AutosAbroad. As it was just before christmas there was no car available and AutosAbroad couldn't do anything. The manager promised me the money back. After ten days I still have no money but worse they now pretend I never picked it up! THey ruined my whole holidays as we had booked a ferry to France for the next morning which we missed of course, because there were no cars available in Greater London at all the big companies as well. Ruined holidays and now I have to fight to get my money back. Never again will I rent a car with AutosAbroad! ...

Do you fancy saving Money , serious Money ?
How many people out there reading this Opinion have been to America previously and specifically California , hired a Car with Full Insurance and thought OH MY GOD THAT HAS JUST COST US A FORTUNE ?
The vast majority of you will have either hired a Car through your Travel Company or Alternatively via a stand alone Company such as AutosAbroad.
What I am suggesting works I've done it before but what I am doing this time works even better. It only doesn't work if you book Car Insurance with Dollar since they will not let you take Insurance from elsewhere.
For the purposes of this Opinion , I have used Air Tickets Direct as a UK provider of Car Hire and Alamo.com as an actual Car Hire Company.
Let me firstly give you a worst case scenario for Car Hire , one which many of you can ...
