Advantages: Location, peace and quiet, restaurant is good. Disadvantages: Services are not at par
An average hotel. Definitely not value for money.
Rooms:
Standard rooms cost 800 rs and "Deluxe" ones cost 950 rs. However the difference between the two is only of a couple of square feets. Both rooms have the wash basin built in the room (not in the bathroom). Both, in my opinion, are overpriced. I guess Munnar is generally expensive (and overbooked) during peak season. The last time I was in Munnar the town was similarly costly.
The hotel is ... ...going up with the floors of the rooms. Hence these two types of rooms are practically in the "basement" of the building offering a view of a heap of rubble and the next resort. Probably the higher rooms offer a better view of Devikulam (where the hotel is located). By the way there is no elevator in the hotel.

...project party and stayed in Autumn trees. After staying there just for one night i was fully fed up with the quality of rooms and service that the hotel provides. We had booked five deluxe (so called) rooms in the hotel. each room costs about 950 bucks (pretty costly for the service and quality). We had planned to reach Munnar early morning and so the deal was struck with the check in time being 6 am. When we reached there at 6 am we were told that ... ...much delay at around 7.30 am we were given 2 uncleaned rooms for freshening up (rooms were in pathetic condition and we were 14 ppl). The management told us that the cleaning ladies would come only after 8.30 am and so we will have to manage with those rooms only. We somehow adjusted freshened up and went to the tree top restaurant for breakfast. He wasted 1 and a half hours in getting us the breakfast we ordered. 1 and half hours wasted. And even ...
