Advantages Cheap, clean, friendly, excellent location
Disadvantages Poor breakfast seating, not enough sockets, no tea/coffee facilities

I've stayed at the Hotel Avalon twice, once back in 2008 when it was pretty much exactly the same but was named Hôtel de Londres et d'Anvers, and the second time in July of this year. This review is mainly based upon a three night stay in July 2012. ~The Hotel~ The hotel is placed in a traditional Paris tenement building, very close to Gare du Nord, with the metal balconies on the sides that make the city so pretty.
