the heart of the popular Paphos. The hotel¤s modern architecture and luxurious interior decoration are designed to attract discerning holiday makers in search of something that makes a good holiday great. The hotel is set in landscaped gardens and situated just 250 metres from the beach.
Advantages: Lovely Pool & Gardens, Near to Bars & Restuarants, Room Cleaned Every Day Disadvantages: Rude & Unhelpful Reception Staff, Maintenance Work, Room Smelt
...I stayed in this hotel with my boyfriend for 2 weeks in June 2006 on a Bed and Breakfast basis.
LOCATION
The hotel is in a great location in Paphos, near to plenty of bars, restuarants, supermarkets and within 10 mintues walking distance to the harbour. The best restaurant is just over the road from the hotel at the back called Ficardos. The service was 1st class, friendly staff and the food was the best we had, also reasonably priced in comparison to other places.
The sea is just over the road, however there was not much in the way of a beach, it was rocky and no sand. Although there were sunbeds it was not appealing enough to want to spend the day there.
ROOMS
The rooms are small however well furnished with a fridge/mini bar, TV (limited channels, only Eurosport is in English), hairdryer but no tea making facilities or radio...

An exceptional and popular hotel situated in the heart of Kato Paphos across the road from the beach, close to shops, restaurants and places of interest.
Advantages: Very Good Hotel, great weather Disadvantages: Chavs, football shirts, morons, too British, VERY expensive, tacky goods
...We visited Paphos in June 2007. The ride from the airport was somewhat alarming as a). the taxis do not appear to observe any rules of the road and b). the landscape looked more like a scorched battefield in Iraq than a holiday centre but upon arriving at our hotel (The Avanti) we were pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the hotel and the greenery of the surroundings. The weather whilst we were there was unbelievably hot, over 40 degrees most days with unbroken sunshine. The beach at nearby Coral Bay (Don't bother with the beaches at Paphos - they are awful) was very nive with unbelievably warm sea - even in June. The local bus service is excellent.
Paphos, I am afraid is a bit of a dump. It caters soleley for the "chav" end of the market and if you want somewhere like Blackpool but hotter then it is for you. The endless...

Advantages: Perfect place to have your holidays Disadvantages: none =]
...Originally I'm from Cyprus and I am very proud of that. I feel very lucky because I lived there most the years of my life. (in Paphos, in a village that is called Armou that is on a hill and from up there you can see nice view and all paphos town and the sea!)
Paphos have everything you need to take your holidays (if you are seeknig to have a holiday somewhere in Europe) and it's also very good place so stay (if you are planning to move in Cyp forever!)
The weather is wonderful, especially during the summer, the sun, the beach everything! You can enjoy your night in Kato Paphos visiting a variety or taverns, restaurants, the castle, clubs, bars, cafes and meet new people.
The hotels are all very nice with good prices. But if you are considering to move in Cyprus-Paphos, you will find it a bit expensive to get a house and start your...

I stayed at this hotel for one week in July 2005. It was brilliant. The hotel looked classy from the inside and out, and was only a short way from the shops and restaurants in Paphos.

My impressions of this game when I saw it advertised on the internet was that it looked like a completely different type of game that I'm used to seeing for the DS.
