+Royal Station Hotel-Newcastle+ One a recent trip too Newcastle , i needed someplace to stay and this hotel looked good. + The location + Perfect Location for myself as I arrived into Newcastle by Train and your turn right at the train station and your there , no taxi needed. + First look + The hotel reception area is very nice , with this amazing light ficture which is so sparkly. The rception staff are very friendlly aswel. It looks very nice for a 3 star hotel , i would give it 4 easy! + The room + Nice room , spacious and they gave me free water and a biscuit , nice touch. There was a en -suite bathroom and a view. There was also room service option. + others + this hotel had a swimming pool , which i never used but it's allways good to have. you had to pay for breakfast seperate which was pricey so i just went to the greggs ...

Park Avenue Hotel, Belfast - Solid Choice

Advantages: Recently Refurbished
Disadvantages: Not in centre of town

I stayed over at this hotel for a wedding and had a great time (as did the rest of the guests). ********LOCATION*********** I knew of the hotel but had never stayed in it before. It is the closest hotel to Belfast City Airport (about 10 mins by taxi, at a cost of £3.70). It is also about 10 minutes from the city centre, again by taxi. Although we didn't go to the following I thought you might like to know that it is close to the Odyssey Arena (main concert venue), Belfast's Waterfront Hall and the Titanic Quarter. **********BISTRO********** We did eat in the Bistro in the bar, (Gelston's Corner), the food was very nice and by no means expensive. The avage cost was about £5 per person. The decor was very traditional and always seemed busy. The staff were great, friendly professional (full of the good old Irish charm ...

royal station hotel

Advantages: -
Disadvantages: --

****Royal Station Hotel-Newcastle**** Initially my friend and i booked into a Travelodge but we decided very quickly that we needed another hotel and this is the one we ended up staying in. **Location/Getting there** This hotel is located right next to the train station which is fantastic, nothing worse than a long journey followed by having to find a hotel. There is loads of places to eat nearby, plenty to see and do.The bus station is also quite nearby and would take about 10 minutes to walk too. **Reception/staff** The hotel looks really nice from the outside-a grand looking building.Reception looks really nice with big chandlers hanging from the ceiling and there are two lifts.Staff were nice and i had the option of paying straight away or when i checked out. **Hotel/Room** The room i stayed in was a twin room and it had ...
