Manufacturer's product description

In terms of both food and architecture, ultra-fashionable Avogaria lends modern flavor to the Venice restaurant scene. The clean, elegant design of the dining room and garden leaves no doubt that you're in the Venice of the present, not the past. The cuisine is Pugliese (from the region in the heel of Italy's boot); highlights among the primi include orecchiette with turnip tops, and zucchini involtini (roll-ups) made with fresh stracciatella cheese. Pugliese cooking, like Venetian, reveres fresh seafood, and you can taste this sensibility in the slow-cooked, sesame-encrusted tuna steak.

Venice Boardwalk is a very unique place
Review of Venice Boardwalk, Los Angeles by migetboy99

Advantages: One of a kind
Disadvantages: Kind of crowded

...Venice Boardwalk is a one of a kind place. No where in the world will you find a stretch this wierd and intersting. Right next to the beach, venice is a great way to spend a few hours or a whole day in Los Angeles. It passes through Muscle Beach as well, which is an outdoor gym. The boardwalk is lined with small shops and tatoo parlours on one side and vendors on the other. Also, there are human statues, comedians, and picture opputunities. The parking is a little bit expensive if you take your own car, but the shops and vendors are fairly cheap. If you have never been to Venice Boardwalk, you're really missing out on a special spot!... VENICE IN WINTER
Review of Venice (Italy) by AnitaBrendaHelen

Advantages: Scenery and Food
Disadvantages: Damp, expensive

...Few people visit Venice in winter. Why did I? Good question. My relatives live nearby in Padua, and on a family visit, we decided on a day trip to Venice in January. The boat trip over to Venice was a challenge. The sky was dark and grey and it was so cold - not how you would expect Italy at all. Venice was no better, with flooding in St Mark's Square. Very kindly, planks were placed across for pedestrian use as the water was an inch deep in places. Not many people get to see Venice like this, but it is common in winter time when the lagoon swells. People who lived and worked in Venice were going about their daily hustle bustle, dressed in winter clothing with umbrellas and wellies. I had seen Venice like this before as a child, and it had stuck in my mind. I had also been in summer, when it was full of holiday makers, but to go... Read review

Wondefull Place
Review of Venice (Italy) by betsy36

Advantages: Food, ambience, everything,
Disadvantages: none

...I have been visiting Venice since I met my husband in 1997 My husband proposed on a gondola under the bridge of sie. (can't spell that) It is trully the most romantic city in the world. Walking around in Venice is the best thing in the world. They have the most wonderfull food in the world,. The cheese, the gelato everything. We took our two daughter there when they were 3 and 4, and they had a great time. It was interesting getting around with strt strikkers, We made up bumper babies, as the ride was a little rough, Venice is trully worth the trip, the travel and the money. We took a water taxi to the airporon leaving. We did it at sunrise, it was trully spectacular.... Read review
