Advantages: Fascinating cultural and historic destination Disadvantages: too much to see in one day

Melaka is a very reasonably priced destination offering good value for money. There is a wide range of accommodation available to suit all budgets in and around the town. Melaka has a hot and humid climate throughout the year, but the heaviest rain seems to fall in Aug-Oct. You should always be prepared for thunderstorms and tropical showers. Advantages: Worth visiting this city! Disadvantages: The roads are quite cramped
...There are so many historic places in Melaka to visit. This is because Melaka has been the centre of trade since the 17th century and we have seen this place being conquered by the Portugese, then by the Dutch before it was being taken by the British. That is why it has so many historical places in this small city. As a result, we can see different cultural and races in this city which adds to the uniqueness of this multi-cultural city. Food is a variety in this city and cheap as well. For food lovers, this is definitely the best place to sample all sorts of food from different races in this country. Try visit Melaka!...

Because of the popularity of this area in the last 50 yeas or so, it has become a lot more limited to what you can actually do there. You used to be able to drive up and just camp next to Ayers Rock but nowadays visitors stay in Yularu or Ayers Rock resort which is about 14km away from Ayers Rock. The opening hours of the park change but take into account the times of sunrise and sunset so you can always watch them in the park. A pass into the park costs just under $30 (12 pounds) for 3 days but this is the minimum you can pay for (i.e. if you only want to go for one day you still get this 3 day...
